What is standing between you and your dreams? For most of us the answer is simple. Fear. Fear of the unknown. Fear that questions, \u201cAm I enough? Do I have what it takes? Will I fail?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The problem with dreams is that they usually lie on the other side of the unknown. If there is one quality each of us need to step into this year to see dreams fulfilled and to see breakthrough like we\u2019ve always wanted to see, it\u2019s COURAGE.<\/span><\/p>\n But how do you walk in courage when facing overwhelming odds? I have good news for you – the source isn\u2019t you. True courage doesn\u2019t come from your own inner grit and determination. You don\u2019t have to muscle it up or charge forward with your eyes clenched tight in terror.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Courage comes from the presence of the Lord. When Joshua faced the daunting task of leading the Israelites to conquer the promised land, God gave him 4 simple keys – obey, meditate, declare and know. Joshua\u2019s dreams lay on the other side of God\u2019s promise to be with them through every battle. All he had to do to cling to courage was keep the reality of God\u2019s presence with them ever before his eyes.<\/span><\/p>\n 4 KEYS TO COURAGE:<\/span><\/p>\n OBEY<\/strong>. Like Jesus modeled for us, walk in step with the Father. No more, and no less. Simply obey what He\u2019s asking of you.<\/span><\/p>\n MEDITATE<\/strong>. Fix your thoughts on the truth. Don\u2019t give space to the intimidations of the enemy. Get some scriptures up on your wall to stay your mind on the word of God and fill yourself with courage.<\/span><\/p>\n DECLARE<\/strong>. Your words have the power of life within them. Speak out the dreams in your heart like seeds planted in the soil. You will reap what you sow!<\/span><\/p>\n KNOW<\/strong>. Know that you are not in this alone. You aren\u2019t doing this in your own strength.
