It is most fun when you plant a seed, water it, see it grow to become a plant ready for harvest.<br \/>\nConsider this verse. \u201c<b>I (Paul) planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase<\/b>\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibleserver.com\/ESV\/1%20Corinthians3%3A6\" class=\"bibleserver extern\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1 Corinthians 3:6<\/a>). This talks about the natural process of how the kingdom advances in a life, family, church, or region.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Planting \u2013 Someone has to plant a seed of truth, love, prayer, declaration, prophetic act, or obedience for there to be a future harvest of good things.<\/li>\n<li>Watering \u2013 After the seed is planted, it will need to be \u201cwatered\u201d by that person or others.<\/li>\n<li>Supernatural increase \u2013 As it is watered, \u201cGod gives the increase.<\/li>\n<li>Fruitfulness \u2013 Then there is a harvest of salvation, revival, healthy relationships, and freedom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>I (and probably you too) find it more exciting to plant or harvest.<\/b> Watering, however, takes work! It is less exciting and requires intentionality and faith to believe something is happening when we don\u2019t see anything happening.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">What are some of the seeds we are to water in faith?<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><b>Truths<\/b> \u2013 \u201cThe truth will make you free\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibleserver.com\/ESV\/John8%3A32\" class=\"bibleserver extern\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">John 8:32<\/a>). One of the main ways we grow in the Lord is through seeing new things in Scripture we had not seen before.<\/li>\n<li><b>Identity<\/b> \u2013 We cannot consistently do what we don\u2019t believe we are. The second most important question in life is, \u201cWho do I say I am?\u201d (the first being who do we say Jesus is?). We are not who our past experience says we are, but we are who God says we are.<\/li>\n<li><b>Skills<\/b> \u2013 \u201cStir up the gift of God which is in you\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibleserver.com\/ESV\/2%20Timothy1%3A7\" class=\"bibleserver extern\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2 Timothy 1:7<\/a>). It has been said that if we spend 10 minutes a day for ten years doing something or learning about a specific area of life, we will become an expert. This continual repetition is watering our abilities which will bless others and ourselves.<\/li>\n<li><b>Relationships<\/b> \u2013 Every relationship starts in seed form.
