The New Standard

Jesus sets a standard with the statement that ‘John the Baptist was the greatest of all Old Testament prophets’ (Matthew 11:11-15).  He didn’t do any miracles that we know of.  His ministry was gloriously necessary, but not one we would normally compare to some of the more spectacular prophets like Elijah or Daniel. Yet the One who knows all says he’s the greatest. 

There is a truth contained in these verses that helps us to see our potential from heaven’s perspective. It is such a wonderful truth that all of hell has made a priority of trying to keep us from its simplicity. Continue reading “The New Standard”

CCUC family we are worshipping face-to-face at Mission Beach and Innisfail. During this holiday season our musicians are having a break or in hospital so we are using our audiovisual worship resources (karaoke) to aid our praise and worship. Baptism Sunday

 

Join us as a whole family is incorporated into the family of God – the body of Christ at the Cassowary Coast Uniting Church – Innisfail. Service starts at 10.30am  where two will be baptised – then we move to Kurrimine Beach about noon for three full immersion baptisms. Gordon and Barbara will be Reaffirming their baptism in the same service. AWESOME! Do not miss this! Invite a friend
