Living a life with Joy and Delight

May the God of hope fill you all with joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
ROMANS 15:3

Ps Graham Cook in BRILLIANT PERSPECTIVES writes ….  “It is crucial that we remember that we have been created with God’s smile and great delight over our lives.  Learning how to cultivate our own sense of joy and delight is essential. Without joy being part of our daily routine, stress can overbalance our lives.

I believe the beginning of joy is gratitude and making a concerted effort to see the good in people and believe the best.  This doesn’t mean we walk around with blinders on or adopt an attitude of naivety. On the contrary, truly aligning with the Father’s heart of goodness means you are choosing to believe and see others the way God sees them. Continue reading “Living a life with Joy and Delight “

The Holy Spirit KNOWS

Sometimes it takes someone else to say the obvious thing before the ‘light goes on’. I often say God has the solution to every problem that comes our way, but I also often limit God’s solutions to my limited Christian world.

Ps Kris Vallotton shared this testimony that I found helpful in ‘turning the light on’  once more ……..

I had never deeply thought about what it is that the Holy Spirit actually knows outside of Christian concepts until I was at the end of my ropes with a big problem that found its way in my auto mechanic shop one day. A client was offering me a huge payout and a lot of potential work if I could solve his “unsolvable” problem. This is when it hit me to ask…

Does the Holy Spirit know anything about auto mechanics?

You’ve probably heard me tell this story. If you haven’t, you can find out what happens here, but…spoiler alert: turns out the Holy Spirit knows A LOT about auto mechanics. Continue reading “The Holy Spirit KNOWS”
