Resurrection power that heals the sick

But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.  Isaiah 53:5
On Good Friday, the day that we remember Jesus dying on the cross. Why did Jesus have to die on the cross? One of the reasons He died was that power and authority could be released to His Church to heal the sick in order to demonstrate the Kingdom of God. His death on the cross fully paid the price for our salvation from sin as well as for the healing of all our diseases.

One of the greatest ways we can honor and reverence what Jesus accomplished for us on the cross is to walk in the power and authority He died to give us. We show worship and gratitude to Him for what He did by fully appropriating by faith everything that He suffered so much for us to have. Today as you remember the cross, we pray that you receive a fresh determination to walk in the RESURRECTION POWER of Christ to heal the sick.
Let our prayer be, “May the Lamb who was slain receive the FULL REWARD of His suffering!”

Activation & Prayer
As Dr. Clark taught, when the Lord brought His people out of Egypt, “He also brought them out with silver and gold, and there was none feeble among His tribes.” (Psalm 105:37) There are times when our limiting beliefs can hinder us from believing the Lord for healing because we accept certain conditions as normative. But the Word shows us that there was not even any feebleness among the Lord’s people when He brought them out of Egypt! Exodus was death to life for the Israelites, foreshadowing the resurrection power we live in on this side of the cross. What limiting beliefs are keeping you from praying in faith for yourself or someone else to be healed?

Pray this prayer:  Father, thank You that You sent Jesus to the cross so that we could live in the fullness of resurrection life as sons of God. I repent of all limiting beliefs that have stopped me from praying for certain people or conditions to be healed. I ask for the gift of faith today to walk in a greater measure of healing and miracles in Jesus’ name. Amen.
